Job Description for Cloud & DevOps Engineer:

We are looking for a Cloud & DevOps Engineer to manage and optimize our cloud infrastructure across Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Microsoft Azure. The role involves server administration, database scaling, CI/CD pipeline support, and ensuring robust cloud security.

Position Responsibilities:

• Cloud Management: Administer and optimize GCP and Azure accounts, including buckets, IAM, and network rules.
• Server Operations: Monitor logins, validate processes, apply OS updates/patches, manage backups, and check code dependencies.
• Issue Resolution: Troubleshoot and mitigate issues across servers, Cloud Run, and web applications.
• Database Administration: Handle scaling, indexing, and performance optimization.
• Infrastructure Setup: Provision and configure new web servers across GCP/Azure.
• Security & Governance: Protect cloud environments from cyber threats, configure load balancers, and enforce security best practices.
• Scalability: Manage scaling strategies for servers and databases.
• DevOps Collaboration: Assist development teams with deployments, CI/CD pipelines, and environment management.
• Version Control: Administer organizational GitHub accounts, ensuring secure and valid user access.

Skills Required:

• Strong hands-on experience with GCP and Azure.
• Solid knowledge of Linux/Windows server administration.
• Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps).
• Proficiency in database management (SQL/NoSQL).
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible, ARM templates).
• Understanding of networking, IAM, and cloud security practices.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Certifications in GCP or Azure.
• Experience with Docker/Kubernetes.
• Exposure to DevSecOps practices.
